I celebrate each new day as one of the longest survivors of esophageal cancer, in large measure because of the extensive medical knowledge and superb surgical skills of Dr. Rick Gill. Equally important is his compassionate, unselfish dedication to the welfare of his patients. That commitment was life-saving when it appeared that I could not survive; however, Dr. Gill worked tirelessly, long and hard, to keep me going, especially when he spent the entire night by my hospital bed administering medicines and procedures as my life hung in balance. He pulled me through, and put me on the path to recovery.

During the ensuing decade, I have recommended Dr. Gill to many friends and acquaintances, and they too are appreciative of the expert professional care of this uniquely proficient, yet humble, caring physician.

Dr. Gill is amazing!!! He save my mother’s life just this week!!! She was told by another doctor in the ER, she was gonna have to have her whole colon removed & I called his office because she was already a patient of Dr. Gill & told the office staff what was going on & I didnt agree with the other doctor decision & Dr. Gill came right over in 15minutes Top’s & was able to consult my mother’s prognosis & avoid removing her colon!!! I’m forever great full!!! Dr. Gill is the greatest! I recommend him to everyone!

I had a bad gall bladder I went to Dothan and they told me nothing was wrong with me . The next day Dr. Gill found that my pain was from my gall bladder and removed it the very next day . I have not had the pain or any other problems since . Great Surgeon

Very thorough doctor.. i was having upper abdominal pain he made sure my gallbladder and all were fine through a hida scan that was fine thank goodness so he sent me to have an endoscope and colonoscopy I'm 35 most doctor's wouldn't do a colonoscopy at 35 years of age I've been told but he did and he discovered 2 larger polyps plus multiple ulcers but if he wouldn't have discovered those polyps when he did, in about the next 10 years I would've had cancer... I'm so very grateful to God for putting this wonderful thorough doctor in my path that potentially probably saved my life... Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Gill!!
